Mellieha bay Is good for beginners, it also good for sup surfing. Weather is good all year round and winter time a 3mm wetsuit is more than enough. In the bay there are no currents but it is more challenging when the winds turn offshore and pick up to 15knots. There are lots to see, crystal clear waters, beautiful cliffs, clay cliffs where you can stop for a spa treatment using the clay you find there, secret beaches you can reach only by sea, and caves big enough to go in standing .
