Paddle round the most Northernly point on mainland Britain
4.0/5
Great spot on calm days! Paddle out from the pier where its most sheltered. Then head to the right and follow the cliffs round the headland. You'll find a beautiful hidden beach called Peedie sands after 20-30 minutes of paddling. This is an ace place to relax on the beach or have a swim before returning back to the pier. We would avoid paddling much further than peedie sands as the currents get very strong. Avoid offshore winds and swell larger than 3/4ft. It is quite an exposed location.
