Chatfield Reservoir is a state park in Colorado about 45 min south of Denver. There is an entry fee or free entry with state parks pass. Parking is free. Multiple swim beaches to launch from with free access. When the water level is high there is a possibility of glade paddleboarding. There are places to rent sup equipment and some sup businesses host events here too. Lovely views of the foothills. Two entrances into the park and major highways close by. Motorized boats are allowed here.
