This launch is for intermediate to advanced paddlers. The launch puts you into Burrow Channel where the tidal currents can run as fast as 5 knots during a flood tide. Time your session when the tide is ebbing as the currents are gentler and run east bringing you into the safer waters of Burrows Bay. Follow to eastern shore as far as Biz Point. It is safe and scenic all the way. For more advanced paddlers, work your way up the eastern side to Burrows and Allen Islands.
