This launch is in water open to the Straits of Juan de Fuca. Go when the winds are calm. This place is amazing with sand cliffs, giant kelp beds and clear water. Sometimes smooth ocean swells come rolling in from the Straits for an extra bonus. Evening light against the cliffs can be magic. Tidal currents are mellow as long as you stay away from the Keystone ferry terminal a few miles south.
